Class Additions Not in Current Schedule:
To better support the local industry, WOSSA is working to add some additional training opportunities to our schedule.
Island County:
May 28 and 29th - Maintenance -M-102 and Certification testing. WOSSA is confirming the location, but will be taking registrations for M-102 and Certification testing registration. Call the WOSSA office at: 253-297-6594 for Sherene to confirm your registration:
May 28 - Camano Island
May 29 - Whidby Island.
Scholarship Information
First place recipient will receive $5,000, Second will receive $3,000, Third place will receive $2,000 and additional multiple grants of $1,000 will be awarded based on total applications received. The first 25 eligible applicants will also receive a $250.00 scholarship for tuition, books and related supplies. The total number of $1,000 scholarships awarded will be dependent on the mix of total applications and selected candidates with a total maximum of $20,000 to be awarded.

Applicants must be children of WOSSA Member Company employees or individual members in good standing age 25 years or less;

Applicants must have a High School Diploma or equivalent or be a current undergraduate college student;

Obtain 2 reference letters from unrelated persons;

Complete and submit the application form;

Complete an essay with the application explaining your future goals, how you are working to achieve them and what your future plans are. Mail the package to Scholarships America, our scholarship administrator by June 01,2008 for your request to be considered in this next round of scholarships granted.
